❖ This course will provide frontline clinicians with the most current evidence-based theories and practical demonstration of the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of the most common vestibular conditions such as BPPV, labyrinthitis and vestibular neuritis. Additionally, the course will cover the assessment and diagnosis of conditions such as posterior circulation stroke and functional balance issues.
❖ This 7-hour course covers five unique chapters consisting of anatomy & physiology, clinical features, common vestibular disorders, vestibular assessment and principles of vestibular rehabilitation for BPPV, hypofunction and balance disorders.
❖ A separate session is included at the beginning of the course to give a brief overview of the VRT including the statistics on various aspects of dizziness and VRT.
❖ Another key feature of this session is that it introduces several case scenarios to the participants so that they can associate these cases when individual conditions are looked at. In the concluding session, the participants will have an opportunity to revisit these cases and see what were the diagnoses made and the treatments offered for these cases.
❖ Finally, the participants can test their knowledge by taking a quiz and get the COURSE COMPLETION CERTIFICATE
